Wainuioru School is a decile 9, 4 teacher rural school located 22 kilometres east of Masterton in the Wairarapa.

Most of our students come from the rural areas surrounding the school.  We also have some children who travel in from Masterton. 

The work of our teachers is made easier because of our student's positive attitudes towards their learning and their school environment.  

We have a very experienced  staff who are working hard as a team to provide the best possible learning opportunities for our students.    Walk into the classroom at any time of the day and you will see children who are fully engaged in their learning.

In addition we are an enviro school and we are currently learning how our whole school environment is a resource that supports learning for sustainability.
