Wainuioru School and Community Association (WSCA) is a supportive and inclusive group of parents, staff, and community members. We work together to make Wainuioru School an enriching, supportive, and inspiring rural place to learn. We encourage active community involvement, and provide additional resources and support that strengthen Wainuioru School’s educational goals and values.

Each year WSCA is responsible for fundraising, supporting school events and organising social events for the community. Events have included quiz nights, hall dances and end of year celebrations. Fundraising has included a community cookbook, sausage sizzles at Pet Day and stock grazing. WSCA is able to support the school by funding additional resources over and above the government funding. Examples of this have included sports equipment, sunhats, online learning subscriptions and technology. WSCA is also committed to supporting the annual ski trip for the senior students which allows costs to be reduced, giving all our students the opportunity to take part in this fantastic event.
